Rebirth is a Chicago based literary organization committed to nurturing artistic development, literacy and social justice in young people. Rebirth works with students from grades 3-12 on creative writing, performance, and high school/college preparation. Rebirth was founded by the Emily Hooper Lansana and Quraysh Ali Lansana.

Rebirth's high school poetry troupe, The Rebirth Poetry Ensemble, is the winner of Louder Than a Bomb's 2016 slam and represented the city of Chicago at the 2016 Brave New Voices International Poetry Festival and Competition, where Rebirth became the first Chicago team to make it to the Finals in eight years. Rebirth is ranked fourth in the world and is coached by Quraysh; Emily, Associate Director of Community Arts Engagement, University of Chicago; and avery r. young, poet, musician, and educator. 

The Reborn Poetry Ensemble is the elementary poetry troupe of Rebirth. Reborn is the winner of Chicago's 2016 Half Pint Poetics competition.
